Behind The Scenes With The Wings

While Red Bull is widely known for its delicious energy drinks that give wings to millions of consumers each day, they’re also a massive media house that provides content and coverage of extreme sports, music, and arts events. Chris was approached by Red Bull in hopes of utilizing his expertise in concert photography to add to their TV platform, Red Bull TV, a global multi-platform channel, to provide coverage for one of the biggest concert destinations in the U.S, Lollapalooza. For two years, Chris was a lead photographer for Red Bull TV’s platform. The job was to cover artists, interviews, and capture the overall lifestyle moments that took place during the week-long music festival located in downtown Chicago.

Where Creativity Meets Innovation

In between festivals, Chris would provide coverage for Red Bull Radio and other Red Bull music events producing photographic recaps of their events. It ‘s always incredible to see a company jump borders from product development to hosting events and media creation. Red Bull employs many visual artists and does a fantastic job of highlighting the talents of these artists by pushing their creative boundaries and allowing for innovation every step of the way.
